PhysioXare strive's to provide efficient and effective physiotherapy using the latest techniques and evidence-based clinical practices. Our aim is to achieve the highest level of physical function and well-being for our clients through assessment of their condition, setting goals and planning their rehabilitation/ treatment to help them return to an active lifestyle.
Our Clinical Director & lead Physiotherapist- Samir Somaiya has postgraduate qualifications in Orthopaedics, Sports & Manual Therapy from the University of South Australia(UniSA). Samir has gained experience in various fields of physiotherapy including Hospitals, Medical Centres, Sporting fields and various private practices in Adelaide and Darwin. In addition to our clinic physiotherapy services, our therapist can also provide excellent home-based physiotherapy services for elderly or clients recovering from surgery.PhysioXare was established in 20l3 to provide skilled physiotherapy services in the community


Samir Somaiya
Director & Principal Physiotherapist
Musculoskeletal & Sports Physiotherapist
Samir graduated in 2005 and completed his Master’s degree in Orthopaedics, Sports & Manual Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia. Following this, he successfully worked and gained valuable experience over the last decade working across various settings including hospitals, private clinics, and Medical Centres.
Samir has now established his own practice in Adelaide -PhysioXare, since setting up the PhysioXare Clinic, he has overseen the growth of the business to now include 6 practices and also has a Community arm of the business. In his years of clinical practice, Samir has developed special interests in the management of sports specific shoulder injuries, spinal problems, hip/knee/ankle injuries, orthopedic & return to work rehabilitation.
Samir has also developed a passion for dry needling, neural mobilization & taping techniques. Samir is trained in Level 1 and Level 2 Dry Needling (western acupuncture) and also did his medical acupuncture training from Singapore. A passion for the complete rehabilitation of the individual has helped Samir develop strong professional relationships with a number of General practitioners, Orthopaedic and Neurosurgical specialists in Adelaide.
Samir is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association, National Dry needling group and also a committee member of Australian Acupuncture Dry needling national group.

Sapna Somaiya
Sapna graduated from the University of South Australia with a Masters degree in Orthopaedics, Sports & Manual Physiotherapy in 2007 and has worked in variety of different settings in Australia including private practise, public/private hospitals, community centres & mentoring physiotherapist.
Sapna is passionate about treating musculoskeletal injuries with a combination of hands on treatment such as soft tissue release, joint mobilization, trigger point therapy, dry needling, exercise-based treatment and works towards patient’s individual health and wellness goals.
Her passion for obtaining more knowledge & skills has continued and she has undertaken training in Women’s Health Physiotherapy & completed the following courses - Continence / Women’s Health Physiotherapy level 1 conducted by the Australian Physiotherapy Association & Women’s Health Physiotherapy –Intensive Course by Women’s Health Training Associates.
Sapna is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and has a special interests in musculoskeletal injuries, chronic disease management, orthopedic /post surgical rehabilitation & Women’s Health. She values spending time with her family & enjoys raising her two beautiful children.
